About
Bloom and Fruit
Bloom and Fruit was founded by Amelia Appen who desired to provide specialized fruit tree care to her greater North Georgia community. Amelia believes with proper fruit tree care more people can have access to nutritious fruit right in their backyard. Amelia is a third year soil science student with renowned microbiologist Dr. Elaine Ingham at the Soil Food Web School.

Amelia combines thermophilic compost and vermicast all made in house from native feedstock materials to create specialized tree care soil amendments. She is a member of the North Georgia Native Plant Society, works for Ellijay Mushrooms at the Ellijay Farmer's Market and is working towards her soil consulting certification. She has worked with Dancing Dog Farm, Old Dial Road Farm, Hawkfield Farm, Jacklett Farm, and many residential homes and homesteads in Ellijay, Blue Ridge and North Atlanta communities.
